Happy December! I hope you are having a great week and enjoying our snow! We have some beautiful food and events lined up for you this week-end. On Friday, our lunch special will be a traditional shepherd’s pie, warm and soulful!! Perfect for a cold day! And join us Saturday evening for our holiday musical celebration: Songs for Winter’s Night. Local musicians will perform, and you are invited to join in the fun! The event begins at 6:30 pm and will go until 8:30. There will be plenty of tea, warm food and delightful treats to get you in the holiday mood!

It’s almost Friday and time to change up the menu a bit. This week’s Friday Lunch Special is our own mushroom barley soup–a hearty and satisfying bowl of deliciousness! For afters, you might want a little slice of delectability: our chocolate almond tart with a hint of cinnamon–lovely with a cup of smoky tea or a flavored black such as the Black Jasmine Creme!!

Annual Children’s Halloween Cupcake Decorating Event 10/30/2011

It’s not too late to reserve a spot for our cupcake event on Sunday! Children decorate their own scary cupcakes while mom and dad sit back and relax with a cup of tea. Event will be held Sunday, October 30, from 2:30-4:30 pm. Price is $15 per child which includes 2 cupcakes with all the trimmings as well as refreshments! Phone for reservations.
